The TransMuter is a new technology created from the ground up to resolve classic problems with Distortion Pedals and Power Attenuators.
It provides access to superior ‘concert-like’ distortion for electric guitar amplifiers, at a wide range of usable volumes, without compromising on tone.
Cooler
Power Attenuators will turn almost all your amplifiers power into heat, creating thermal interference in your output signal. The TransMuter produces no noticeable heat whatsoever, providing a superior tone.
Quieter
To achieve ‘concert-like’ valve distortion under normal conditions you need to crank your amplifier up to near full power. This roughly equates to the same volume as listening to a pneumatic drill without ear defenders. The TransMuter enables this same distortion but at safe and practical volumes.
Truer
Where Distortion Pedals try to produce synthetic approximations of the sound of your amps natural distortion, the TransMuter provides a practical way to unleash the real sound of your amps valves.

TransMuter CORE
Our CORE technology reduces the headroom of your amplifier allowing power stage distortion to take place at low volumes, while creating no noticeable heat.
Volume Control
Provides 12 levels of progressive volume reduction down to 0.01 Watts
Impedance Selector
Provides compatibility with all standard speaker impedances.
Power Selector
Provides compatibility with any power of amplifier between 15W-130W.
True Bypass
Allows the TransMuter to be switched in and out of circuit with ease.
Headphone Compatibility
Now you can use your favourite headphones with your valve amplifier. By allowing the amp to make a very slight sound, we can preserve the complex component of its signal and pass this on to your headphones.
Auxiliary Connector
Enables signal mixing to your amplifier so you can play along using your phone or iPod.
Dual Protection
Separate mechanisms protect against short and open circuit faults, keeping your amplifier safe.
Easy Connect
The ‘Easy Connector’ insures against accidental user misconfiguration of multiple jack sockets and reduces initial product setup time to just seconds.
Completely Passive
The TransMuter only contains passive components so there is no need to worry about an additional power source or software failures.
Compact
The TransMuter achieves all this while still being as small as a conventional pedal. It measures only 120 mm x 100 mm x 60 mm.
